Work underway at Langley Mill

The working parties at Langley Mill operate every Friday & on the Sunday following the monthly meeting at lock cottage, Sandiacre. This meeting is held at 19:45 on the third Thursday of each month.
Recent work has been on the Cromford canal junction in preparation for the future link-up. Current work is on the restoration of the Nottingham canal tollhouse. Apart from these projects, other activities include regular clearing of the river erewash feeders & general up-keep of the ECP & DA area.

The tollhouse & feeder activity can be seen in the photograph area.

I understand from Michael (please forgive me if I get names wrong, as a new member it will take me a while to remember them all) that there are in fact work parties every Friday. Is this the case, and if so, when and where do they meet?

Hi Martin, the working party meets at Langley Mill (ECP & DA cottage just behind Great Northern pub) every friday from about 09:00 & also on the sunday following the monthly meeting at Sandiacre (meeting at Sandiacre that is, not work party, that is always at L.M.). Hope this is the info you require.
